A new K-8 charter school is opening soon, offering tuition-free education and a unique approach to all-around student development with a groundbreaking approach to education. AMS Little Rock is scheduled to open our doors to students and families in the 2024-2025 school year! We are a tuition-free, public charter school that will serve students in grades K-8. All elementary and middle school grades will open in our first year!

What and How Our Students Learn
- Our school facilities are safe and secure for our students through updated technology and effective training for our staff
- We have a zero-tolerance bullying policy and act immediately upon reports of conflicts
- Our students have extra time in Reading and Math to develop the knowledge and skills to be successful in every subject
- Our students spend at least 1 hour every day setting academic goals and receiving individualized intervention or extension based on their needs
- Our focus on Math and Science helps students develop important skills in data analysis, research, and critical thinking, and experience electives like advanced computer science, coding, robotics, and STEAM projects that bring math, science, and the arts together
- All students have access to personal laptops to support their learning in the classroom and at home, and we support internet access with hot spots as needed
- We offer high-quality curriculum in all subjects that meet and exceed Arkansas standards
- Our instruction is 100% student-centered and we emphasize practice, discussion, and experimentation with frequent feedback from teachers
- We devote time every day to building student character through our core values and provide space for students to discuss and make sense of their choices and emotions. Students have access to individualized counseling supports and engage in constant opportunities to reflect
